Deputy Prime Minister Vuong Dinh Hue visits a litchi selling stall

Speaking at the event, Deputy Prime Minister Vuong Dinh Hue praised the province’s approach on marketing litchis and other fruits. He stressed the importance of tapping local potential to promote local tourism and develop unique tourist products. Mr. Hue said: "It’s important to strengthen regional links and cooperation in the production of agricultural products in general and litchis in particular. We also need to focus on cultural and tourist products. Bac Giang province needs to work closely with Lang Son and Lao Cai province and relevant Chinese agencies to help local enterprises  export their products.”

The Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development Nguyen Xuan Cuong asked the province to continue its agricultural restructuring by focusing on high-yielding trees, applying science and technology in agricultural production, and combining agriculture with tourism development.
