Vo Trung Manh, Chairman of the People’s Committee of Tu Mo Rong district, which will host the event, said: “At the trade fair, we will organize a program to encourage disadvantaged students of the district to continue their study."

"We will also host a ginseng auction. Cooperatives, businesses, and households will use a part of their earnings from the auction to contribute to the district’s Education Promotion Fund," said Mr. Manh.

Ngoc Linh ginseng, also known as Vietnamese ginseng is mostly found in the Central region of Vietnam. Pharmacist Dao Kim Long discovered the plant in 1973 in Ngoc Linh mountain of Kon Tum province, which gave the ginseng its name. Ngoc Linh ginseng is considered one of the 5 best ginseng varieties in the world.
