Nguyen Dinh Chien, Director of the Institute for Agent Orange/dioxin Study, the organizer of the charity program, praised the children for their efforts to overcome hardship and achieve good academic results.

“We hope that with the support of the community, this program will become a meaningful annual event that provides inspiration for children of war invalids and victims of Agent Orange/dioxin,” Chien said.

Nearly 5 million Vietnamese people were exposed to Agent Orange/ dioxin sprayed by the US during the Vietnam war.
