(VOVworld) – On Sunday the Saudi-led coalition resumed its air strikes on the international airport in Yemen’s capital, Sana’a, destroying 2 civilian air planes. This was the second coalition air strike in the last week, following last Tuesday’s bombings which prevented an Iranian plane from landing.

Local authorities said that coalition air craft attacked Sarwah district in the central province of Marib and some areas in the southern provinces of Ibb and Taiz, where Houthi rebels and forces loyal to former Yemeni President Ali Abdullah Saleh were reportedly stationed. No casualties have been reported so far, but local people said many Houthis had been killed during the strikes.
