The Russian films will be introduced at booths set up by Roskino, a state-owned organisation that promotes the Russian film industry in international markets and organizes Russian film festivals abroad.

Ekaterina Naumova, acting Director General of Roskino, said the Russian film industry took part in Telefilm Vietnam for the first time last year and drew international attention to Russian animations, documentaries, action films, and comedies.

Telefilm Vietnam 2023 which will open on June 8 is expected to attract film companies from South Korea, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, the Philippines, and China.
