The two leaders shared their opinions on the effects of the missile strikes carried out by the US, UK and France on Syrian territory. They agreed that the action seriously damaged the prospects of political settlement in Syria. President Putin said if similar actions continue in violation of the UN Charter, it will lead to chaos in international relations.   

Syrian President Bashar Al Assad called the missile attacks on Syria a provocative act.
