(VOVworld) - The Russian Mosfilm Week 2015 opened on Thursday in Hanoi and will begin in the central city of Da Nang next Monday.

The film week is part of activities to celebrate the 65th anniversary of diplomatic ties between Vietnam and Russia.

Four films to be screened include two war-themed “On the Road to Berlin” and “White tiger”, comedy “Girl prisoner of Caucasus”, and drama “Ward number 6”.

At a press conference in Hanoi on Wednesday, Koloda Evgeny Pavlovich, deputy director of the Mosfilm Cinematography Company and the director of the film “On the Road to Berlin”, said he hopes via the film festival Vietnamese viewers can know more about the best of the Russian film industry. He expressed his hope that more film weeks like this will be held in Vietnam.
