Minister Lavrov emphasized the need to maintain efforts agreed by Russian President Vladimir Putin and US President Joe Biden to promote cooperation based on Moscow's security proposals. He also called for a dialogue on all issues raised by Russia, especially security.
Secretary of State Blinken said Washington looks forward to receiving Russia’s written response to the US and NATO papers shared with Moscow last month and emphasized the need to see verifiable, credible, meaningful de-escalation. They also discussed an agenda for following meetings.
