The region poses a serious risk to international relations, Lavrov told reporters, adding that Egypt is the leading Arab country and its fortunes affect developments in the entire Arab world. Lavrov insists that Egyptian people should decide their own fate through an internal inclusive dialogue. He said he hoped that the initiatives aimed at starting of such a dialogue, stabilizing of the situation, implementing transitional measures and preparing for free democratic elections will be successful. Earlier, Lavrov said that Russia will closely follow events in Egypt and support its efforts to end the crisis and stabilize the country.  Egyptian judge Adli Mansour has been sworn in as interim President after the ouster of Mohamed Morsi. Mansour has approved a constitutional declaration for the transitional period, which is set to last six months.
