Russia: 50 people killed in a plane crash

(VOVworld)- A plane crash in the central region of Russia has left 50 people dead. The Boeing 737 from Moscow on Sunday exploded after a failed attempt to land at the Kazan international airport.

The plane is from the Tatarstan Airlines flying from Moscow to Kazan. 44 passengers and 6 crew members were confirmed dead. Among the dead was the oldest son of the leader of the Tatarstan region, Irek Minnikhanov and Alexander Antonov, head of the regional Federal Security Service (FSB). No Vietnamese has been found in the list of victim. Russian investigators started checking the scene of the crash in the international airport Kazan to find out the reason. Two main reasons suspected are technical problem and pilot’s mistake.
