(VOVworld)- The Vietnam-US Society of the Vietnam Union of Friendship Organizations, the Associated Press and the International Center of Vietnam Veterans of America Foundation organized a roundtable discussion on media and development of Vietnam-US relations on Friday.

Reviewing the 70 years of the Vietnam-US Society and 20 years of the normalization of Vietnam-US relations, the President of the Vietnam-US Society Nguyen Tam Chien highlighted the AP’s contributions to covering the real war in Vietnam. Chien said: “I hope that the relationship between Vietnam and the Associated Press will further develop and that AP will continue contributing to the friendship and comprehensive cooperation between Vietnam and the US”.
