The VITASK Center is an ODA project between the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Vietnam and the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy of Korea.
VITASK will help Vietnamese businesses in the automotive and electronics industry participate in the global value chain from which businesses can proactively prepare the foundation for sustainable development.
Addressing the event, Minister of Industry and Trade Tran Tuan Anh spoke highly of the RoK government’s ODA for Vietnam, adding the center's establishment is a milestone to enhance transfer of technology know-how, human resource training, renovation for production management, market connection and development for Vietnamese businesses, especially those in automobile, electrics, and electronics.
Minister Tuan Anh said the project reflects the close ties between the two governments and business communities.
“The role of Vietnam and RoK has been confirmed in the framework of the Vietnam-Korea Bilateral Free Agreement and most recently in the frameworks of the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP) Agreement which have gone beyond the ASEAN intra-regional activities and become a large economic and trade space of the Asia-Pacific region and the world,” said Minister Tuan Anh.
