Le Ngoc Tuong, Deputy Director of the Quang Nam provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, said: "The event is part of activities to celebrate the 2019 ASEAN-RoK Commemorative Summit and implement a Memorandum of Understanding between the Korean Cultural Center and the Quang Nam Department of Culture signed in 2017. RoK is in top five countries having the largest number of visitors to Quang Nam."

The two-day festival featured exhibitions on cultural and tourism products, folk art performances, a fashion show of Quang Nam and RoK’s traditional clothes.
