(VOVworld) – Head of the National Committee for Search and Rescue, Deputy Prime Minister Trinh Dinh Dung on Friday worked with the Command Front Post of the Defense Ministry based in Hai Phong’s Naval High Command.

He extended the condolences of the Prime Minister and himself to relatives of the missing soldiers on the two SU30-MK2 and CASA 212 aircraft, which are missing after distress reports, and encouraged to the soldiers, fishermen, and people to become involved in the search and rescue operation.

The Deputy Prime Minister encourages the search and rescue forces

He asked the search and rescue forces to exert all efforts to find the missing pilots, identify the locations of the drowned planes and retrieve them soon. The Deputy Prime Minister said that due to weather disruption and the large search area near international waters, search and rescue forces have to closely cooperate with the local fishermen and international forces to obtain the best results.
