(VOVWORLD) - The National Assembly Standing Committee on Thursday commented on revisions to the Law on Medical Examination and Treatment towards better quality of services at clinics.

Delegates discussed authority decentralization and administrative procedure reform in healthcare and treatment. National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue made suggestions on regulations for permanent medical practices by foreigners in Vietnam:

"Languages used in medical practices remain a pending issue. Given different opinions on this issue, drafting and appraisal agencies should prepare arguments for the National Assembly to consider," said Mr. Hue.

Chairman Hue asked for patient-centered approach in revising the Law and agreed on a three-tiered medical examination levels depending on the sophistication of the service.

The same day, delegates commented on draft resolution to on Khanh Hoa provincial development sandbox policy.
