At the Van Ninh-Cam Lo expressway project site, the Prime Minister praised the determination and tireless efforts of contractors, who are working in three shifts around the clock to ensure the project progress. He urged the early completion of formalities for the rest stops along the expressway so they can be operational in tandem with the main route.
While inspecting the Quang Tri airport construction site, Prime Minister Chinh noted that the location lies at a strategic transportation intersection, with future high-speed rail and nearby seaports. However, the vast surrounding land is currently used mainly for forestry and low-value agriculture. He asked relevant agencies to plan for the development of this area into a hub for aviation industry, airport urban zones, high-tech industry, and related services. He underscored the importance of accelerating Phase 1 and decisively completing the airport by July 2026.
At the My Thuy Port development site, the Prime Minister instructed the investors and contractors to ensure progress, technical standards, safety, environmental protection, and aesthetics.
He called for the port to be developed in a modern direction, emphasizing green transformation, digitalization, and smart governance. He also encouraged studying plans to develop a free-trade zone and specialized port facilities at My Thuy.
