Following the operation of a two-tier local government model in July, all levels, sectors and localities have intensified efforts to meet socio-economic goals for the second half of the year.

Authorities rolled out a range of economic management measures, including lowering water surface rents, addressing site-clearance bottlenecks in key projects, and stepping up promotion to attract investors to industrial parks. Quang Ninh also worked to expand tourism activity by linking with partners to stage a series of international events.

The province said it continues to provide favorable conditions for businesses, offering support for new projects, particularly in processing and manufacturing.
