(VOVworld) – The program for the Mekong Delta Economic Cooperation Forum (MDEC) 2014 to be held from November 5 to 7 in the Southern province of Soc Trang has been approved.

Under the theme "Restructuring agriculture – building new rural areas in Cuu Long Mekong Delta", the MDEC – Soc Trang event will include a seminar on the role of banks in restructuring agriculture, and building new rural areas in Cuu Long Mekong Delta, a conference on promoting investment in agriculture and rural areas toward a sustainable green economy, and a business forum on economic development in the delta, HCM City, and Ha Noi.
