(VOVworld) – Ho Chi Minh City’s Farmers Association and the municipal Television Station will jointly organize a program next Friday to help poor farmers overcome life difficulties and call for support from the business community and individuals.

Through this program, 50 houses of gratitude will be built; 1,500 Tet gifts will be presented to disadvantaged farmers; 1,500 scholarships will be given to their children, and more than 23,000 farmers with difficult situations will receive support in medical insurance.

Poor farmers including members of the city’s Farmers’ Association and poor rural residents will benefit from this year’s program.
