He said Vietnam aims at sustainable and high growth with macro-economic stability, while liberating production through policies and mechanisms. The Prime Minister underlined the need to shift to green growth: “There is a big question that needs to be answered. We should find a new growth momentum in Vietnam from now to 2021. It’s necessary to continue to reform management mechanisms, improve the investment environment, and assist businesses by reducing costs and procedures. Private businesses should be developed, state-owned enterprises be reformed, and the economy be restructured.”
PM Phuc called for effort to develop tourism, manufacturing, and exports, which are Vietnam’s advantages.
