Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung has urged the banking sector to focus on lowering the interest rates amid easing inflation pressure to boost business operation and maintain growth. Mr. Dung made a request at a meeting in Hanoi on Saturday to implement the banking sector’s tasks for next year. PM also asked the State Bank of Vietnam (SBV) to improve its monetary policies aimed at curbing inflation and stabilizing the exchange rates. He called on SBV to carry out banking system restructure for national development.
