The conference aimed to speed up the planning work, along with consultation on orientations for the national master plan for 2021-2030 with a vision towards 2050. The Prime Minister asked ministries, agencies and localities to consider the planning a crucial political task this year and mobilize resources to ensure planning progress and quality.

“Planning has to identify unique potential differences and outstanding advantages for maximum deployment. Weaknesses, limitations and dilemma have to be pinpointed for proper solutions. This requires breakthrough changes in mindset, strategic vision and practical monitoring,” he said.  

Mr. Chinh also asked ministries, agencies and localities to step up inspections and supervisions by competent and people-elected agencies in the assessment and ratification of planning projects.
