Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh's attendance at the Summit sends a strong message of Vietnam’s active participation and responsible contribution.

Vietnam, together with other member countries, pledges to maintain and strengthen ASEAN’s centrality and voice for peace, stability and development in the region and in the world. It has been contributing to ASEAN solidarity and helping ASEAN respond effectively to the current challenges. Vietnam holds that ASEAN's principled stance on global, regional and East Sea issues must be maintained.
