(VOVWORLD) - Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh on Thursday expressed his hope that Vietnamese journalists will continue to uphold the values of a “bright mind, pure heart, and sharp pen.”

At a meeting in Hanoi with current and former leaders of press agencies to mark the 100th anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day (June 21), PM Chinh praised the role of journalists, media outlets, and press management bodies in national construction and defense.

“The Government is committed to working closely with the press in accordance with their functions, responsibilities, and authority,” PM Chinh said.
