Viettel established its Peru company with the Bitel brand in 2011 and the company began its business in 2014 with 100% capital of Viettel. Bitel now owns the largest network infrastructure in Peru and has a nationwide distribution channel system with headquarters in all states of Peru.
At the meeting, President Cuong urged Bitel to maintain its success and become stronger, stay united, pay attention to the lives of employees to promote human resources as a premise for growth and sustainable development. The President reminded Bitel that in addition to its business mission, it is also a "bridge" for cooperative relations between Vietnam and Peru, an important partner of Vietnam among APEC member countries.

President Luong Cuong said, “Bitel continues to capitalize on your achievements, constantly improve service quality, and maintain the trust of the Peruvian people. This is not only a business mission but also a responsibility to the local community. Effort should be made to gain the trust of Peru authorities, thoroughly grasp and strictly implement the Party's regulations and policies and laws of the State and the Vietnam People's Army. Competition must be healthy and lawful.”
On this occasion, Minister of Defense Phan Van Giang presented a certificate of merit from the Government to Viettel Peru Company.
