At a reception for visiting Foreign Minister of the Republic of Korea, Ms. Kang Kyung-wha, in Hanoi on Friday, President Quang called on both sides to effectively implement the existing cooperative mechanisms in foreign affairs, security, and defense. He also stressed the need to deepen bilateral cooperative ties in line with their strategic cooperative partnership. Mr. Quang expected that the Republic of Korea continues its strong support for Vietnam in capacity building for law enforcement forces at sea, developing science and marine economy, and coordinating in issues of mutual concerns at regional and global forums.

Ms. Kang said the influx of Republic of Korean business groups and companies into Vietnam is a vivid manifestation of cooperation between the two countries.
