(VOVworld) - President Tran Dai Quang arrived in Hanoi on Monday, concluding a two-week trip abroad to attend the 24th Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Forum in Peru and the 16th Francophone Summit in Madagascar. President Quang also visited Italy and the Vatican.
On the sidelines of the Francophone Summit, President Quang had meetings with officials from the French Community of Belgium and Egypt.

At their meeting, President Quang and Rudy Demotte, Minister-President of the French Community of Belgium applauded their flourishing friendship and cooperation in education, vocational training, health care, and environment.
During his meeting with the head of Egypt’s delegation to the Summit, Ibrahim Mahlab, President Quang asked Egypt to help establish a Halal Certification Centre in Vietnam, to make it easier for Vietnamese goods to penetrate Islamic markets.
