President To Lam expressed his respect to President Ho Chi Minh, his great contributions to the cause of fighting for national liberation and construction. He requested the administration and people of all ethnic groups in Cao Bang to continue to do a better job of preserving and promoting the value of the Pac Bo special national historical relic site, demonstrating responsibility, the deep feelings and gratitude of future generations for Uncle Ho's great contributions.
Also on Monday morning, President To Lam visited and gave gifts to the family of veteran revolutionary Hoang Thi Khin in Pac Bo hamlet, who was assigned the task of providing daily meals to President Ho Chi Minh. Mr. Lam also met the family of Mr. Duong Dai Hoa, who was assigned the task of welcoming delegates to the 8th meeting of the Party Central Commitee, which took place from May 10 to 19, 1941 at Khuoi Nam Shack.
President To Lam also attended the groundbreaking ceremony of Pac Bo kindergarten in Ha Quang district; visited, talked and gave gifts to police officers and soldiers of Truong Ha commune; and offered incense to commemorate Mr. Hoang Dinh Giong, an outstanding senior leader of the Party and the Vietnamese revolution.
