President Phuc on Friday received 25 international delegates from 15 countries who are in Hanoi to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the signing of the Agreement. He said that Vietnam always remembers the precious support of international friends, regardless of ethnicity, color, and religion, who stood side by side and helped the Vietnamese people during the prolonged, tough resistance war, watched every development on the battlefield as well as on the negotiating table, the war of nerve in Paris.

The President said that amid global uncertainty and complexity today, building a world of peace, equitable and sustainable development has become an urgent need and the earnest aspiration of progressive mankind. Vietnam has always been a friend, a reliable partner and a responsible member in the international community, cooperating equally and for mutual benefits with all countries, he added.
