(VOVworld) – President Truong Tan Sang received Nakagaki Yoshihiko, Vice President of the International Friendship Exchange Council of Japan (FEC), in Hanoi on Tuesday. Nakagaki Yoshihiko is also President of the Viet Nam Cultural and Economic Exchange Committee.

President Sang asked Japan to provide the relevant Vietnamese agencies with information regarding the needs, capacity and conditions of Japanese businesses to facilitate cooperation with Vietnamese localities. He said that Vietnam would boost the implementation of key Japanese-invested transportation routes and aviation cooperation between the two countries. Nakagaki Yoshihiko said Japan wanted to replicate successful cooperative models in education and healthcare in Vietnam. He also promised to boost investment cooperation with Vietnamese businesses to further bilateral economic ties between the two countries.
