(VOVworld)- State President Truong Tan Sang on Tuesday received Governor of the Wallonie-Brussels region Rudy Demotte in Hanoi, who is currently on a visit to Vietnam. President Sang said Vietnam treasures its ties with Francophone countries including Belgium.  He also thanked the region for its non-refundable development assistance to Vietnam to help the country implement projects in education, vocational training, healthcare and the environment. Rudy Demotte proposed the two countries increase all-level delegation exchanges in the years to come. He also hoped for increased cooperation between the two countries, especially in applied science, education and training, energy, mechanical engineering and bio-technology.
