The President spoke highly of bilateral ties  and emphasized Vietnam’s wish to promote economic, trade, and investment cooperation with China.

He praised China’s commitment to opening its market for Vietnam's agricultural products, electronic goods and coal and called on China to create more favorable conditions for customs clearance at border gates. President Quang also urged for rapid settlement of pending issues in cooperative projects between businesses of the two countries. The President hailed China’s support and close cooperation during Vietnam’s hosting of APEC Year 2017.
