(VOVworld) - President Truong Tan Sang concluded a state visit to Iran on Tuesday. At a meeting with Iran’s Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei, President Sang said Vietnam is ready to share its experience with Iran in integration and development.

He briefed the Supreme Leader on his talks with President Hassan Rouhani, which focused on measures to foster cooperation in politics, economics, and culture and Vietnam’s request that Iran consider Vietnam a potential partner in its Look-East policy.   

President Sang said he hopes that using his role and prestige, the Supreme Leader will make greater contributions to fostering the traditional friendship between the two countries.
