Speaking at the Hai Phong Investment Promotion Conference, held as part of the third meeting of the APEC Business Advisory Council (ABAC III), President Cuong praised the city’s efforts in supporting businesses, streamlining administrative procedures, improving transparency, and enhancing service efficiency and investor satisfaction.
He reaffirmed Vietnam’s commitment to ensuring political stability, driving institutional reform, protecting investors’ rights, and expanding connectivity, not only through infrastructure, but also in governance, data, and workforce development.
The President expressed hope that investors would recognize Hai Phong’s vision, ambition, and strong potential for cooperation.
At the event, city authorities presented investment registration certificates and memoranda of understanding to both domestic and foreign investors, with total registered capital surpassing 15.6 billion USD.
