I hope that this spirit will spread far and wide, so that the Vietnamese elderly people, especially those in difficult circumstances, always receive the care and support as the tradition of "respecting the elderly, respecting longevity" of our nation.”

The President said he hopes that the elderly at home and abroad continue to promote the glorious tradition, well implement the patriotic emulation movement such as "Advanced age - Bright example"; "Live happy, live healthy, live usefully, live happily", to contribute their enthusiasm, wisdom and experience to building the country with the goal of a prosperous people, a strong, democratic, fair and civilized country.
