PM Pham Minh Chinh works with Viettel on

Mr. Chinh praised the tech giant’s research and production facilities, as well as its high-tech industry including telecommunications infrastructure and civilian digital products.

He urged Viettel to be at the vanguard in three areas. 

"It should take the lead in innovation, especially in high-tech science and technology and the production of chips for national defense and security. It should lead in adopting a new mindset of daring to think, to do, and to take responsibility. And it should demonstrate effective management and utilization of State resources for industrial development,” said PM Chinh.

The Government leader urged the Defense Ministry and related agencies to accelerate the development of Vietnam’s defense industry, to make it the spearhead of national industry.
