Prime Minister Chinh on Sunday worked with the Party Committee of Gia Lai province on performance in 2021 and the first quarter of 2022 as well as direction and tasks in 2022 and beyond.

Speaking at the meeting, the PM asked Gia Lai to effectively implement the Resolutions of the National Assembly and the Government on the prevention and control of COVID-19 pandemic and socio-economic recovery and development. He required stronger determination to improve the business investment environment, upgrade the indicators of administrative reform, competitiveness; build and develop e-government; promote digital transformation; and develop quality human resources to meet development requirements.

On Saturday evening, in Pleiku city, Prime Minister Chinh attended the 90th anniversary of the founding of Gia Lai province (May 24) and announced province’s typical natural heritage and cultural and historical relics. Then, he delivered a speech at the Gia Lai Provincial Investment Promotion Conference 2022 involving more than 400 delegates. The Prime Minister also visited a number of veteran revolutionaries in Pleiku.
