The biennial meeting is organized on a rotary basis by member countries. This year’s meeting will discuss a plan of action until 2020 and future cooperation projects. The MLC is a sub-regional cooperation mechanism jointly established in 2016 by the six countries along the Mekong River: Cambodia, China, Laos, Myanmar, Thailand and Vietnam.
