The two Deputy Prime Minister nominees are Le Minh Khai, former Government Inspector General, and Le Van Thanh, Secretary of Hai Phong City Party Committee.
The 12 Government member nominees include:
- Phan Van Giang, member of the Politburo 13th tenure, Chief of Staff, Deputy Minister of National Defense, is nominated Minister of National Defense.
- Bui Thanh Son, member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, is nominated Minister of Foreign Affairs.
- Pham Thi Thanh Tra, member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Minister of Home Affairs, Deputy Head of the Central Organizing Commission, is nominated Minister of Home Affairs.
- Ho Duc Phoc, member of the Party Central Committee, State Auditor General, is nominated Minister of Finance.
- Tran Van Son, member of the Party Central Committee, Vice Chairman of the Government Office, is nominated Minister, Chairman of the Government Office.
- Le Minh Hoan, member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, is nominated Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development.
- Nguyen Hong Dien, member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Head of the Central Communications and Education Commission, is nominated Minister of Industry and Trade.
- Nguyen Kim Son, member of the Party Central Committee, Director of Hanoi National University, is nominated Minister of Education and Training.
- Nguyen Van Hung, member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism, is nominated Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism.
- Hau A Lenh, member of the Party Central Committee, Vice Chairman cum Secretary General of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, is nominated Minister, Chairman of the Committee for Ethnic Minorities.
- Nguyen Thanh Nghi, member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Minister of Construction, is nominated Minister of Construction.
- Doan Hong Phong, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of Nam Dinh Provincial Party Committee, is nominated Government Inspector General.
The National Assembly will elect these positions in its working session on Thursday (April 8).
