Chairing the 8th meeting of the National Committee for Digital Transformation in Hanoi, Prime Minister Chinh requested that “three enhancements” and “five thrusts” must be carried out to boost digital transformation

"Three enhancements are enhancing awareness of the role and importance of digital transformation to each person and business, especially leaders; enhancing the resources for digital transformation, which is an important task; and enhancing public-private partnership, which use public investment to lead private investment, and activate all social resources for digital transformation," he said.

This year's national digital transformation priority is digital economic development with four pillars: IT industry, digitalization of economic sectors, digital governance, and digital data.

The Prime Minister also mentioned "five thrusts". They include improving institutions, creating a full legal corridor for national digital transformation and digital economic development; developing digital infrastructure and digital platforms to create a premise for digital economic development; creating digital data, developing digital services, ensuring continuous, smoothly, and synchronous connectivity; developing digital human resources and digital skills to meet socio-economic requirements; and safeguarding cybersecurity and information security to protect national cyberspace sovereignty.
