The Vietnamese Foreign Ministry announced that PM Chinh will also attend the 40th and 41st ASEAN Summits and Related Meetings from November 10th to November 13th.
This will be Mr. Chinh’s first official visit to Cambodia since he became the Vietnamese Prime Minister and the first visit to Cambodia by a key Vietnamese leader during the Vietnam-Cambodia Friendship Year 2022.
Prime Minister Chinh will attend in-person the ASEAN Summits and meetings between ASEAN and its partners for the first time.
The meetings mark the resumption of direct exchange and dialogue between the leaders after 2 years of hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
