Mr. Chinh emphasized that if any problems are not solved, they could directly report them to him.
The PM congratulated the Japanese firms on their successful operations in Vietnam and welcomed their expansion of investment particularly in green and renewable energy, digital transformation, e-commerce and sustainable development.
He asked them to financially assist Vietnam in improving human resources up to international standards, share management experience and devise strategies to boost Vietnam’s export.
Mr. Chinh said that Vietnam is safely, flexibly adapting to and effectively controlling the pandemic for socio-economic development.
The business executives thanked the Vietnamese Government and localities for their support over the past years. They described Vietnam as a significant and strategic market, saying they want to expand their operations in various areas in the country.
The Japanese businesses included ENEOS, AEON, Fast Retailing, Marubeni, Mitsui, MOECO, and Sojitz.
PM Chinh is currently on an official visit to Japan at the invitation of his Japanese counterpart Fumio Kishida.
