The meeting aimed to review the work of the Subcommittee, identify key tasks and especially give comments on the draft Evaluation Report on five years of implementing the 10-year Socio-Economic Development Strategy 2021-2030, directions and tasks for socio-economic development in the five years 2026-2030.
Participants said that after the second session, the Subcommittee proactively and actively made efforts to ensure progress and quality. It has submitted to the 9th Party Central Conference meeting for approval the detailed outline of the Socio-Economic Report; developed a Draft Socio-Economic Report; and updated the content of the Draft Political Report according to the principle that the Political Report is the central report and the Socio-Economic Report is the thematic report.
Prime Minister Chinh acknowledged and appreciated the members of the Subcommittee and the Editorial Team for working with high spirit and responsibility, ensuring quality and progress. He requested fine-tuning the draft report to serve the upcoming plenary session of the Socio-Economic Subcommittee.
The Prime Minister also asked working groups of the Subcommittee to survey and collect opinions in the Southeast and the Mekong Delta regions as well as get opinions from former leaders of the Party, State, and Vietnam Fatherland Front to complete the report.
