The PM called for breakthrough solutions in multiple sectors to revitalize traditional growth drivers, foster new engines of growth, diversify markets, products, and supply chains, implement Politburo resolutions, and remove obstacles facing stalled projects.
Localities were urged to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the new two-tier local government system, streamline administrative procedures, and accelerate decentralization and delegation of authority in tandem with resource allocation, while strengthening inspection and supervision.
Due attention should be given to organizing celebrations for the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day (September 2), preparing for the upcoming new academic year, and developing and implementing plans to mitigate landslides, subsidence, drought, and flooding in the northern mountain region and the Mekong Delta.

Reports at the meeting indicated that the socio-economic situation continues to show positive momentum toward the annual growth target of 8.3-8.5%.
The national economy remains on an upward trajectory, with macroeconomic stability maintained, inflation under control, major economic balances ensured, and many key indicators improving compared to the previous month and the same period last year.
New orders have rebounded, with the Purchasing Managers' Index rising to 52.4 in July, the first time it has surpassed the 50-point threshold since the beginning of the second quarter.
