At a meeting of the National Steering Committee for key national transportation projects on Wednesday, the Prime Minister said upgrading the transport infrastructure is one of Vietnam’s current breakthroughs.
He said capital for large projects has come from central and local sources, medium-term sources, and the socio-economic recovery and development funds.
“The Steering Committee needs to agree on actions to produce effective, substantive outcomes while upholding the responsibility of the central government and local administrations and the people. If we delay implementation, we will waste our resources. We need to realize these breakthroughs and implement expanded fiscal policies,” said Mr. Chinh.
