At the Martyrs National Museum, the Prime Minister attended the launch of the Arabic edition of Dien Bien Phu by General Vo Nguyen Giap. This Arabic edition provides Algerian readers with a comprehensive, systematic understanding of the historical significance, scale, and profound impact of the Dien Bien Phu Campaign, one of Vietnam’s most remarkable military victories.
Writing in the Museum’s guestbook, the PM expressed his admiration and respect for the heroic revolutionary soldiers who sacrificed their lives for the independence of Algeria and the national liberation movement, including the Vietnamese people.
The Museum is preserving a list of the first countries to recognize the revolutionary government in Algeria, including Vietnam. There are many artifacts and documents introducing Vietnam, its struggle for national independence and the Vietnam-Algeria relationship.
