During the event on Wednesday, the Prime Minister called for a national labor productivity movement in the entire economy. He said: “GDP calculation currently has missed out a lot of items. If it was counted fully, it could gain another 25.4%. Meanwhile, Vietnam has a significant number of labor force in the farming sector, representing 37% compared to 2 or 3% in Japan or Britain.”
At the event, participants also discussed measures at macro level to speed up economic restructuring and growth model renewal, along with developing human resources quality.
