(VOVworld) – 14 of the most outstanding photo collections on Vietnamese heritages were honored Thursday at an award ceremony in Hanoi. The Vietnam Heritage Photo Awards 2013 aimed to promote the images of Vietnam’s land and people, especially the nation’s cultural heritages recognized around the world.

The contest attracted the participation of more than 50 international and domestic photographers with more than 1200 entries. On this occasion, Heritage Magazine, the contest organizer, launched Vietnam Heritage Photo Awards 2014, focusing on photo reportage on topics such as different regions, customs, lifestyles, ethnic cultural identities, and occupations of Vietnam.
