The exhibition displays maps and geography books of different feudal regimes of Vietnam and China which proved that Hoang Sa and Truong Sa archipelagos belong to Vietnam. Le Van Hien is a local in Hoi An city, Quang Nam province: "The exhibition is a rare chance for us to learn more about Vietnam, its seas and islands. China’s deployment of its oil rig Haiyang 981 in Vietnam’s territorial waters go against international law".

On this occasion, Hoi An city presented 3 gifts worth 5 million VND each to 3 families on Cu Lao Cham whose relatives are on duties on Hoang Sa archipelago.
