To prepare personnel for the 14th National Party Congress, the Politburo and the Party Central Committee of the 13th tenure conducted thorough reviews, voted, and unanimously agreed on the nominations of candidates for re-election and first-time membership. They approved the report and the list of nominees of the Party Central Committee to be submitted to the 14th National Party Congress for consideration and election according to the rules.
Tran Cam Tu, Permanent Member of the Party Central Committee’s Secretariat, said, “The preparation of personnel for the 14th Party Central Committee was carried out by the 13th Party Central Committee and the Personnel Subcommittee in accordance with the Party's regulations, the principle of democratic centralism, and the provisions of the law."
"Personnel preparation was done in a comprehensive, systematic, rigorous, democratic, objective, and transparent manner, promoting democracy and wisdom and ensuring harmony among standards, structure, inheritance, stability, innovation, and development. It involved balancing professional training, practical skills and abilities, reputation, work experience, and career development prospects. In particular, it emphasized quality and effectiveness of work output and dedication as benchmarks in evaluating, assigning, and utilizing personnel," Mr. Tu said.
